Cheryl’Berna Adams
Cheryl’Berna Adams joined Hooshmand Law Group as a Paralegal since August 2014 and has served as Office Manager since October 2019. During her time at HLG, she has successfully managed over 300 cases throughout the entire litigation process while maintaining daily bookkeeping and day-to-day office operations. She graduated with her Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication with a minor in Women’s Studies from Saint Mary’s College of California and received her ABA-Approved Paralegal Certificate from California State University, East Bay (formerly Cal State Hayward). When she is not working, Cheryl’Berna enjoys reading books, scrapbooking, and traveling.

Alicia Bustos Sandoval
Alicia Bustos Sandoval joined Hooshmand Law Group in January 2024 as Senior Tenant Rights Advocate (Bilingual), focusing on Spanish Language cases. As a native and resident of San Francisco she has been an advocate in the Mission District Community for over 25 years. Alicia is passionate about tenant rights and spent the last 8 years with Housing Rights Committee as counselor and organizer, fighting against evictions in San Francisco. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, friends and volunteering in the community she lives in.

Brian Trachuk
Brian Trachuk has worked as a paralegal for the Hooshmand Law Group (“HLG”) since November 2018. He graduated from Sacramento State University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and completed a paralegal study program through UC Davis in 2018 before joining HLG. In his time at HLG, Brian has worked on several large cases, including class actions, and has helped several clients recover seven-figure settlements. He specializes in discovery client outreach, and trial preparation. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, hiking with his dog, and cultivating his arboretum.

Jacob Swanson
Jacob Swanson joined Hooshmand Law Group in June of 2015. During his time here, Jacob has contributed to dozens of cases, ranging from single client cases to 100+ client class action lawsuits. He enjoys the variety that each case brings and prides himself in achieving closure for clients. Jacob joined the US Marine Corps at 16 and attended college in San Diego. While he is not working, Jacob enjoys construction projects, travel, and spending time with his son.
